Why ilzion

A live quiz platform built for a full room: fair to every player, honest with your data, and clear about what to teach next.

Built differently

Six choices that shape everything else. Each one is something the product does today.

Fair to every player
One clock on our servers decides when a question opens and closes, so a slow phone never buys extra time. The quiz editor warns you when a timer is shorter than the time it takes to read the question, and accuracy scoring takes the speed race out entirely.
Built to teach, not only to play
After a game, the results name the wrong answer most of the room chose and list the questions to reteach first. Homework and practice modes take the same quiz home.
Private by default
Players join with a PIN and a nickname: no account, no email address. There is no ad network and no tracking cookie on any page, and your data is stored on our servers in the European Union.
Proven with big rooms
We ran one game with 2,000 players connecting from outside our own servers and recorded every accepted answer. Self-serve rooms go up to 1,000 players; the Custom plan goes beyond.
Calm when something goes wrong
A phone that drops rejoins with its name and score. Pause the room whenever you need to, or void a question with a wrong answer key and every score is fixed on the spot.
English and Turkish, all the way through
From the quiz editor to the podium, every screen works in both languages.

For schools

Teachers running a lesson on the projector, students on whatever device they have.

  • Students join with a PIN and a nickname. No student accounts and no email addresses to collect.

  • Turn on classroom-safe nicknames once in Settings, and rude, hateful or sexual names are refused at the door, in English and Turkish.

  • The editor checks that every question leaves time to read, so younger readers and second-language learners are not left behind.

  • Accuracy scoring gives every correct answer the same points, so the fastest tapper does not always win.

  • After class, “Reteach first” shows the questions the room found hardest and the wrong answer most students chose.

  • Homework mode sets a deadline; practice mode lets students revise at their own pace.

For universities

Lecturers checking understanding in a full lecture hall.

  • Rooms of up to 1,000 players on the Elite plan, and more on Custom. We have tested a single game with 2,000.

  • Every phone shows the question and the answers, so the back row never has to read the projector.

  • Open-ended, poll and survey questions collect what students think, not only what they remember.

  • Campus Wi-Fi drops? A student who reconnects keeps their seat and their score.

  • Export the results as a spreadsheet (Creator plan and up) for your own records.

For teams and training

Onboarding, refresher training and team days.

  • Team battles add every player’s points to their team’s total.

  • Homework mode runs a quiz on people’s own time, with a deadline.

  • The analytics dashboard (Pro plan and up) shows how your games went, question by question.

  • A data processing agreement is published for organisations that need one.

For events and creators

Quiz nights, conferences and live shows.

  • Load-tested with 2,000 players in one game, with every accepted answer recorded.

  • Visual themes for the big screen, a live leaderboard after every round and a podium at the end.

  • Pause the room, skip or void a question, lock joining, kick or ban a player: the host stays in control.

  • Players join from any phone browser in seconds, with nothing to download.
