1. How to get help
The fastest way to get unstuck is to skim the quick-start pointers and common questions below — they cover the things people ask most. If you still need a hand, reach out:

When you write in, it helps to include what you were trying to do, what happened instead, the quiz PIN (if it relates to a specific quiz), and the device and browser you were using. The more detail you share, the faster we can help.
2. Quick-start pointers
Joining a quiz
You don't need an account to play. Head to the join page, enter the quiz PIN your host shares with you, pick a nickname and avatar, and you're in. Your answers, score, response times and streaks are tied to that quiz session only.
Creating an account
To host or create quizzes, you'll need a free account. You can register here with your email and a password, or log in if you already have one. Already signed up? You can review and update your details any time in your account settings.
Hosting and creating quizzes
Once you're signed in, start from the ilzion home or your dashboard to build a quiz, add questions (with optional images, audio or video), and launch a live quiz. Players join the quiz you host using the PIN it generates.
3. Common questions
How do I join a quiz?
Go to the join page, type in the PIN from your host, choose a nickname and avatar, and join. No account or download is required.
How do I host a quiz?
Create an account (or log in), build a quiz from the home page or your dashboard, then launch it. Share the PIN ilzion generates so players can join.
How do I reset my password?
On the login page, use the password-reset option and follow the link sent to your email. If you don't receive it within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then email support@ilzion.comand we'll help you get back in. Note that we never store your password in plain text, so we can't read it back to you — we can only help you set a new one.
How do I delete my account?
You can request deletion from the account deletion page, or by emailing privacy@ilzion.com. Deletion permanently removes or anonymizes your personal data, with a short recovery window and routine backup rotation before it's fully gone.
Is my data private?
Yes — privacy is a core part of how ilzion is built. We self-host our infrastructure, and we use no third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking. Cookies and local storage are strictly functional. For the full picture of what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Service availability
ilzion is run and supported by a single operator on a best-effort basis. We work hard to keep the platform online and to answer support requests as quickly as we reasonably can, but we can't guarantee instant replies, specific response times, or uninterrupted service. There may be occasional maintenance, downtime, or delays. Thanks for your patience and understanding — we genuinely appreciate it.
